Begin your adventure with a drive through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and explore the cinematic town of Ouarzazate. Continue through lush valleys and rugged gorges before arriving at the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga.
Beyond sandboarding and stargazing, you’ll meet local nomadic families, explore hidden desert villages, listen to traditional Gnawa music, and marvel at the beauty of Ziz Valley and the cedar forests on your way to Fes. Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. We’ll travel through the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way.
After a relaxing lunch in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate, we continue through the palm-lined oasis of Skoura and the fragrant Rose Valley. In Skoura, you’ll have the chance to visit the famous Amridil Kasbah, a beautifully preserved fortress.
In spring, the valley blooms with vibrant roses — a truly magical sight. The day ends in Dades Gorges, where you'll marvel at the striking rock formations known as the “monkey fingers.” Dinner and overnight stay at a charming hotel.
After breakfast, we set out toward the Todra Gorge, passing through lush valleys and traditional Berber villages. Known for its towering canyon walls, Todra is a must-see natural wonder.
We then head toward the Sahara and the golden dunes of Merzouga. Before reaching the dunes, we may visit a local Berber shop, where you can try on traditional attire for fun photos. There's no obligation to purchase anything — this is simply a cultural stop.
At Merzouga, your camel trek begins. Ride into the dunes as the sun sets and try sandboarding along the way. Upon arrival at the luxury desert camp, enjoy a delicious dinner and an unforgettable night under the desert stars.
Start your day early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at camp, return to Merzouga either by camel or 4x4 vehicle.
Our first stop is the village of Khamliya, famous for its soulful Gnawa music. Next, we head to Rissani, a historic town with deep cultural roots. If your visit falls on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, we’ll explore the traditional market.
The journey continues through the scenic Draa Valley to Agdz, with its charming landscapes and palm groves, before reaching Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we explore the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, home to Africa’s largest film studio — Atlas Studios — and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
Next, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous ksar used as a filming location for hits like Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.
We then travel back to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at the fascinating Telouet Kasbah along the way. Upon arrival in Marrakech, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation, concluding your incredible desert adventure.
