Upon your arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel or riad. If time permits, enjoy your first stroll through the Red City and enjoy a welcome dinner in a traditional local restaurant.

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages. Stop at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for being featured in numerous films and series like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue through the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive towards the Todgha Gorges and take time to walk through the towering canyons. Continue through the towns of Tinjdad, Touroug, and Erfoud as the scenery shifts towards the desert. Arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara, and spend the night in a desert hotel.

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of Merzouga. Start with a 4x4 adventure through Erg Chebbi’s dunes and visit desert nomads and the Gnaoua village of Khamlia, where you’ll enjoy live music and mint tea. In the late afternoon, mount your camel and head into the dunes to watch the sunset before arriving at your desert camp. Enjoy traditional dinner and music under the stars.

Leave Merzouga behind as you take the off-road Dakar Rally path. Stop for panoramic desert views, visit the village of Taouz, and continue toward the remote Berber villages of Ouzina and Ramlia. Enjoy lunch and then head to Tafraoute Sidi Ali, a hidden gem known for its mining past and beautiful desert oasis.

After breakfast, journey through the rocky plains toward Zagora and continue to Agdz, where you’ll visit the historic Kasbah of Tamnougalt. Nestled in the Draa Valley, this site offers insight into Morocco’s caravan past. Drive onward to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa.”

Start your day with a visit to the world-famous Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. Then drive through the scenic Ounila Valley and visit the crumbling yet beautiful Kasbah of Telouet. After lunch, cross the High Atlas again via the Tizi n’Tichka pass and return to Marrakech in the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Moroccan journey.
