- Tour plan :

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech. Drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, passing through traditional Berber villages and enjoying panoramic views as you cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass.

Your first major stop will be Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for movies like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Take your time to explore its narrow alleys and ancient architecture.

After lunch, continue through the Skoura oasis, famous for its lush palm groves and historic kasbahs, before reaching the dramatic Dades Valley. Spend the night in a charming hotel or guesthouse surrounded by stunning mountain landscapes.

After breakfast, the journey continues to Todra Gorge, a natural marvel known for its towering rock walls that reach up to 300 meters. Enjoy time to stroll through the gorge and capture unforgettable photos.

Next, head toward Merzouga, passing through the towns of Tinjdad and Erfoud, the latter being a center for fossil mining and considered the gateway to the Sahara.

Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets, painting the desert in golden and crimson hues. After arriving at your camp, settle into your private tent and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. The evening continues with Berber music and drumming by the fire beneath a sky full of stars.

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes—a peaceful and awe-inspiring moment. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by 4×4 and begin your journey back to Marrakech.

On the way, pass through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley, famous for its date palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," to visit the Kasbah Taourirt and explore the city’s cinematic legacy.

After lunch, continue the scenic drive back across the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the early evening, where your guide will drop you off at your hotel or a central meeting point.

This 3-day shared tour ends with lasting memories of your desert adventure and Morocco’s diverse landscapes.
